Organizational Structure

1. Governing Council

The Governing Council provides overall oversight, governance, and strategic direction for the Truly Organic PGS certification body. It ensures integrity, transparency, and accountability across all certification activities. The council oversees committee operations and protects the credibility of the Truly Organic standard.

 

2. Certification Committee

The Certification Committee is responsible for certification evaluations, compliance reviews, and certification approvals. It assesses farm and custodian compliance against Truly Organic standards. The committee also manages non-conformance findings, corrective actions, and certification decisions.

 

3. Data & Traceability Committee

The Data & Traceability Committee manages registration systems, record verification, and product traceability throughout the certification network. It maintains transparent documentation and chain-of-custody systems to ensure accountability. The committee supports accurate reporting and certification integrity across all participating operations.

 

4. Farmer & Custodian Committee

The Farmer & Custodian Committee represents the interests and participation of farmers and custodians within the PGS system. It supports onboarding, communication, training, and ongoing engagement across the network. The committee helps strengthen collaboration, participation, and continuous improvement within Truly Organic.

 

5. Consumer & Market Committee

The Consumer & Market Committee represents consumer interests and promotes public trust within the Truly Organic certification system. It supports transparency, market accountability, and ethical representation of certified products. The committee helps ensure that consumer confidence remains central to the integrity of the label.

 

6. Standards & Technical Committee

The Standards & Technical Committee develops, reviews, and maintains the Truly Organic production standards and technical protocols. It evaluates approved inputs, Organic practices, and compliance requirements across the system. The committee ensures that certification standards remain practical, credible, and scientifically aligned.

 

7. Certified Farmers

Certified Farmers are approved producers operating in accordance with Truly Organic standards and regenerative agricultural practices. They maintain compliance through responsible production methods, recordkeeping, and participation within the PGS system. Certified Farmers uphold the integrity and trust of the Truly Organic certification network.

 

8. Certified Custodians

Certified Custodians are authorized oversight participants responsible for supporting, monitoring, and guiding compliance within the Truly Organic network. They assist with verification activities, farmer coordination, and regional implementation of certification standards. Certified Custodians play a key role in maintaining accountability, transparency, and operational integrity across the system.
